Its exactly two years since Russian lawyer Sergei Magnitsky died under suspicious circumstances in a Russian jail. Magnitsky, a lawyer for Firestone Duncan, was jailed after he discovered a massive tax fraud involving Hermitage Investments, one of the Moscow-based law firm's clients. The case attracted international attention, and led to the US banning some 60 Russian officials suspected of being involved in the case.
