French linen producers seek green market

As France struggles to hold on to its industries, one sector is holding steady: linen. The fabric has been used in France for centuries and today most of the world's linen fibres are grown in Europe. Production is labour-intensive but with consumers interested in ecological products grown locally, growers and producers are hoping linen might see a resurgence.
