Geneva Iran nuke talks end with hope of compromise

Two days of talks in Geneva on Iran's nuclear programme finished on Wednesday. Reports say Iran may eventually propose snap inspections of its nuclear sites to help end the diplomatic stand-off. In return it wants international economic sanctions against the country to be eased. Further talks involving all parties have been scheduled for 7-8 November.   Daniel Warner, a political scientist in Geneva, looks at progress so far.
