Millions march for Charlie Hebdo in biggest rally in French history

Issued on:

More than 3.5 million people marched throughout France on Sunday to mourn 17 people who died last week in a three-day killing spree, and to take a stance against terrorism. Between 1.2 and 1.6 million of them were in Paris, many with good memories for Charlie Hebdo, the satirical magazine whose headquarters was the target of attacks on Wednesday, where 12 people were shot dead.
