Elderly people in Britain like dancing

Issued on:

One-in-six of the United Kingdom’s population is currently aged over 65 with numbers growing every year. The National Health Service message to the elderly population is that physical activity and exercise can help individuals stay healthy. One such activity is dancing which can improve posture, muscle strength, increasing co-ordination and help to beat stress. And in London, African dance classes in particular are gaining popularity as an alternative for maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
