German arrests over mall terrorism plan
Police in Germany have arrested two brothers on suspicion of planning an attack at one of the country’s biggest shopping centres, four days after a jihadist killed 12 at a Berlin Christmas market.

German police say they arrested a 28 and 31-year-old man, originally from Kosovo, after a tip-off from intelligence services late Thursday.
Police were deployed to the CentrO shopping complex and a nearby Christmas market in the western German city of Oberhausen, near the Dutch border.
The mall is one of the largest in Germany with around 250 shops that are usually packed in the run-up to Christmas.
Police are still trying to establish how advanced the plot was and whether others were involved.
This comes as the Tunisian man thought to be responsible for Berlin’s deadly Christmas market attack on Monday has been shot dead in Milan.
