Security an important campaign issue in UK elections

The United Kingdom is set for a general election this Thursday.  The poll will go ahead despite Saturday's terrorist attack in central London in which sevenpeople died and many more were injured.  But the weekend's attack, and last month's deadly suicide bomb blast in Manchester, has made security an increasingly important campaign issue.
