Last day of UK election campaigning and Tories are nervous

In the United Kingdom, today is the last day of campaigning before the country votes in a general election on Thursday for its next government. When Prime Minister Theresa May called an early election, experts predicted that her ruling Conservative party would win comfortably and increase its majority in parliament.

But with campaigning almost over, some opinion polls suggest the Tory lead might be waning even in some of the country's strongest Conservative seats.
