France and China pledged to forget tensions over Tibet and work together on issues from global monetary policy to Iran, when French President Nicolas Sarkozy met China's Hu Jintao on Wednesday. Sarkozy will also be a guest at the opening ceremony of the World Expo, that starts on 1 May in Shanghai.
