Ten million French in bad housing

Issued on:

The French anti-poverty campaign, the Abbé Pierre Foundation, says 10 million people in France live in unacceptable conditions. The French government says it is spending close to two per cent of the country’s GDP on public housing projects and aid, but there is still not enough accommodation and for many, homes remain unaffordable. The foundation says, the government needs to rethink how the money is being spent.
