Necessity truly is the mother of invention....especially when it comes to energy-saving techniques. Europe has set targets that countries are pushing to meet. In France new buildings will have to meet strict energy regulations in the next seven years, by 2020, and so developers are starting to look for solutions. That leaves the door open for innovative ideas, like algae. Some call it green gold and a French company is hoping to harness its power and help France become more energy efficient in the process.
