Ageing immigrants face isolation in France

As France tries to reform its pension system, some elderly populations have been forgotten. A parliamentary report brings up the issue of ageing immigrants, notably people from north and sub-Saharan Africa, who came to France 30 or 40 years ago to work. Many stayed and are now hitting retirement age. And many live alone, with chronic illnesses and a lack of social support.
