"Up All Night" protesters vow to return
The French protest movement known as "Nuit debout" or "Up All Night" has been evicted from Paris's Place de La Republique following security concerns given the state of emergency. But members are not ready to back down. People from all walks of life have been gathering every evening to occupy central city squares in 50 cities in France, but also in Belgium, Spain and Germany to share their aspirations for change. RFI went to Place de la République where it all kicked off on 31 March, boosted by an amusing anti-capitalist documentary film Merci Patron.
