What astronauts eat in space

The Frenchman sent to the international space station a few months ago, Thomas Pesquet, will celebrate his birthday today, four hundred kilometres above Earth. He’ll be 39. And because it’s his birthday, he’ll get to eat something other than the usual freeze-dried and pre-heated astronaut food. Dhananjay Khadilkar reports on how to bring quality French cooking to space.
