Allegations of corruption and conflicts of interest have become a major issue in the France's presidential and parliamentary elections.
 

The conservative presidential candidate, Francois Fillon, is being investigated over the suggestion that members of his family were paid for parliamentary work that they never did.

This kind of misuse of public funds isn’t new in France, but the growing public anger is. RFI’s Sarah Elzas looks into why.
