Whatever happened to France's Socialists?

Socialist candidate Benoît Hamon has been knocked out of the race to become France's president after securing just 6.2 percent of the vote in the first round of the elections. With the exception of 2002, it's the first time since 1969 that the party is not in the run-off. RFI talked to political scientist Laurent Bouvet, author of La Gauche Zombie (The Zombie Left), about the party's decline and who's to blame.
