When you're blind, having a guide dog can change your life. But less than 2 percent of France's 1.7 million blind and visually impaired people benefit. For the recent National Guide Dog Week, training centres across the country opened their doors to raise awareness, and funding, to get more dogs trained.

RFI meets Murielle, Emilie and Joba at Paris's Ecole du Chien Guide to find out more about their special relationship and how it was built. For more information check out the FFFAC Federation of French guide dog schools.
