Three tons of pot seized in lorry transporting lettuce
Three tons of cannabis with a street value of six million euros were found by in a lorry transporting lettuce when French police searched the vehicle at a motorway toll station this week.

Anti-drug police seized the consignment cannabis resin on the A36 motorway in south-east France on Thursday, sources told the AFP news agency on Saturday.
More than 200 kilos of marijuana leaves were also hidden in among the crates of lettuce.
The lorry's 60-year-old driver, who is a Spanish national, and a car driver who is alleged to have been leading the way for him, were detained in a police station in the French Basque city of Bayonne.
They will appear in court on Monday.
