Pro and anti-government groups in Bahrain have begun a new round of talks in a bid to resolve a political crisis that began two years ago this week. Opposition groups, including the major Shiite bloc Al-Wefaq, have called on the monarchy to hold direct elections. Negotiations have been stalled since July 2011, when the government held a similar round of dialogue that was mostly boycotted by opposition groups. RFI spoke to Reda Al-Fardan a Bahraini activist about their expectations.
