Israel concerned by violence in Sinai peninsula as Egypt's crisis unfolds

Violence has surged in Egypt's Sinai peninsula since the toppling of former president Mohamed Morsi last Wednesday. Militants yesterday blew up a pipeline transporting gas to Jordan. Islamists reportedly launched gun attacks against security forces throughout the region, which borders Israel, killing several Egyptian soldiers. Professor Efraim Inbar, director of the Begin-Sadat Center for Strategic Studies in Jerusalem, speaks about the possible impact of an unstable Egypt on Israel.
