Enthusiasm in London for the Paralympic Games

Issued on:

The Paralympic Games came to end last night with an outstanding closing ceremony. For two weeks, Paralympics athletes have impressed the world with their performances. They showed the world what they can achieve beyond their disabilities. In the UK, the media coverage of the event was significant and, with all the activities organized around the Games, the Paralympics became a platform to highlight discussions about disabilities. RFI went to Trafalgar square, in central London, to meet British people who were enjoying the Paralympics, and all the events staged around them.
