Ibrahimovic, 33, played at AC Milan for two seasons before his move to PSG in 2012. Between 2006 and 2009 he turned out for Inter Milan.

A move to Milan hasn't been the only rumour circulating about Ibrahimovic. It was reported in the British sports media earier this week that the Sweden international was on the verge of signing for the FA Cup winners Arsenal.

“Rumours about Milan? It’s the media blowing it up and talking a lot, but there’s nothing behind it. I’m a PSG player and I have one year left,” said Ibrahimovic before Sweden’s qualifier against Montenegro for next year's European Championships in France.

Ibrahimovic, who has scored 102 goals for PSG, is approaching the end of a trophy laden career.

He has won national championships at all of the clubs he has represented.

In the Netherlands he won two Dutch titles with Ajax. And once he moved to Italy, there were two league championships at Juventus - later revoked due to a match-fixing scandal - as well as three Serie A titles with Inter Milan, and another Scudetto with AC Milan. During a brief sojourn in Spain, he collected the La Liga title with Barcelona.

Since arriving in the French capital, Ibrahimovic has been the lead man in PSG's front line as they have won three consecutive Ligue Un crowns.

Last season the side completed an unprecedented treble of league championship, La Coupe de la Ligue and La Coupe de France.
