Caroline Garcia fought back from behind to defeat Caroline Wozniacki and reach the last four of the season-ending WTA Finals.

France's Garcia was thrashed 0-6 in her first set against Denmark's Wozniacki but took the match in the end 0-6 6-3 7-5; making the semi-finals in Singapore at the expense of Simona Halep.

Romanian Halep lost her final group match in Asia to Elina Svitolina, which also means that Karolina Pliskova can end 2017 as women's world number one - providing she takes the WTA Finals crown.

The Saturday last four line up sees Pliskova face Wozniacki and eighth seed Garcia take on American Venus Williams.
