The French government is preoccupied with transportation these days. It is trying to pass a law reforming the state rail company. It is also reeling from protests of an ‘eco-tax’ on trucks using highways. All this gives a lot to talk about at this week’s European transport expo being held in Paris. But one mode of transportation has often been pushed to the side: cycling. RFI meets some of the people promoting what appears to be a growing biking culture in France.
