For women in construction, a deliberate choice

For women in construction, a deliberate choice

Naima Atigui on a worksite near Paris. Sarah Elzas/RFI

Fewer than two per cent of construction workers in France are women. The work can be physically demanding, but there is nothing inherently male about the profession itself. In the second part of a series of profiles of people in professions in France that are dominated by men or women, we meet a woman who is going into construction, with help from a training programme that encourages women to enter the field.
