Paris Museum of Humankind re-opens after 6-year revamp

Issued on:

RFI's Rosslyn Hyams takes us inside the just re-opened Musée de l'Homme or Museum of Mankind in Paris. It had been closed for six years. 16 thousand square metres opposite the Eiffel Tower have been refitted and restored, and probably more importantly re-thought. The imposing museum has been around since 1937, exhibiting France's anthropological treasures and archeological finds.
