Global warming impact on the Alps clear for scientists, less so for ski resorts

The French ski industry is a two-billion euro a year business, and it depends on a resource that is being threatened by global warming: snow. But while scientists observe rising temperatures and less snow on the ground in the Alps, ski resorts are more cautious. The changing climate might affect the ecosystem, but the winter sport industry could adapt.
